Today I am completing 3 years in SatSure!

I still remember the first day Karthik Ravidhra opened the door of a coworking space on MG Road and welcomed me to the family. Praveen Kumar, with his trademark smile, shook hands with me and showed me my seat. Bhuvanamitra, sitting next to me, became my Bhuvan portal some time for the data.

Looking back joining as a Remote sensing intern and manoeuvring through four different designations to reach here today was not just a simple journey. With the spread of the pandemic after less than a month of joining we left home to work from home mode for a week, this one week ended almost a year after. Without Praveen and Bhuvan who was ready to clarify things for the nth time, working from home with only a partial understanding of the processes and procedures may have been dreadful for me.

On my second week of joining Pradeep Bisen sir handed over the task of building a web dashboard for one of our clients seeing the word geoserver mentioned somewhere in my CV (which even I couldn’t find). Trusting an intern for developing something with a completely new tech stack that the company has not utilised before is what you can see only in SatSure.

It was Rashmit Singh who found a product manager in me and moulded it while I was completing my master’s thesis. This might be the reason why Prateep Basu handed over to me the task of conceptualizing and building Sparta Maps.

The Geospatial Team

In the last three years, the firm has expanded from a modest coworking space to a two-floor office space, from a family of 21 members (I joined as the 21st person) to a family of 115+ members, so as I grew along technically and personally. Working across almost all projects the team did and tried to bring some impact with my part.

For the challenges and problems I faced, I gradually learnt to push myself to the utmost. There are a lot of them that I have not mentioned personally who (currently with and not with SatSure) helped me to be what I am now. This place is indeed an awesome place to learn and grow.

The Musketeers — classmates to colleagues!

Things took on a new shape and structure when I start my fourth year in the organisation, so as my responsibilities too. I am undoubtedly sure that we reach new heights because I have an awesome team with me and we believe in “Winning Together”

Thank you to all my colleagues and my team for your support.
